Silent Savasana’s mission is to bring people together and create a positive community through a variety of distinctive experiences including yoga, meditation, silent talks and more with an emphasis on self-love and personal responsibility no matter where a person is in their yoga journey. We focus on the work-IN, not the work out.

When we founded Silent Savasana, we made it our mission to connect people to the power of traditional Yoga by making it more accessible, relatable, and meaningful to people in the modern age.

Silent Savasana was designed to facilitate more than a fitness experience. Returning to the original intention of the practice, the program focuses on every aspect of the human experience—mind, body, and spirit. By fusing the teachings of yoga’s wisdom tradition with meditative music and modern technology, we enhance the practice, increase the effectiveness for a broader audience, and create a more immersive sensory experience.

Today, maybe more than ever before, people are searching for ways to overcome their limitations and challenges, lead healthier happier lives, and connect with their life’s purpose.

Our goal at Silent Savasana™ is to redefine the “expectations of yoga” by using life’s challenges as opportunities to change for the better, and perhaps for the first time, experience peace, joy, and fulfillment.

So we changed the definition of “successful yoga practice” by broadening the goal; with the idea that exercise without self-awareness and personal development, isn’t enough. The practice of yoga must include the inner experience and a clear path to higher consciousness—both of which are essential to improving quality of life.

We encourage setting aside the status quo and reconnecting the body to the mind and sprit—to prepare for a new experience with Yoga, ones-self, and a new beginning in life’s journey.

Simply put, Silent Savasana™, like the very definition of the word, is a restorative process to facilitate personal transformation, to which getting physically fit is only the beginning.

Silent Savasana’s Yoga instructors inspire and instruct practitioners through state-of-the-art neon headphones. This wireless technology is an important part of the program and provides three major benefits to participants:

  • Large scale classes still feel intimate and personal—yet everyone remains connected by one movement, one breath, and one intention.
  • The ambiance is choreographed and auditory distractions are eliminated, resulting in a more relaxing, meditative environment conducive to an introspective journey.
  • Instructors can speak calmly and softly (adding a soothing effect to the experience) without concern about practitioner’s hearing them in the back rows. Participants can simply adjust the volume to their liking.

Awareness (Chit / Chitta)

If we want to live a more fulfilling life, we need to WAKE UP! Escaping the stimulus-response conditioning of our society, letting go of our unmet demands and expectation of others, and becoming aware of our limiting beliefs requires a willingness to look within for the answer. Freedom and liberation from these and other failing “emotional programs for happiness” is only possible when we are courageous enough to be honest with ourselves. Silent Savasana provides a transcendent atmosphere and a safe environment where the practitioner can discover what separates them from the life they seek.

Self Realization (Dhi)

The ultimate goal of the Silent Savasana Yoga program is self-realization—which occurs when consciousness is turned inward and is united with the True Self rather than the ego. This is a powerful, internal experience which integrates our body and minds with Infinite Energy. Silent Savasana facilitates this process by helping people recognize inner conflict, minimize negative impulses and thoughts, and become conscious of their True Selves to experience a deeper sense of awareness, compassion and love.

Harmony (Samanvaya)

The common denominator of mind, body, and spirit is energy—our life force. When we treat these parts of ourselves as separate and distinct, it impedes the flow of energy and takes us out of alignment. Silent Savasana helps us defragment and realign these three aspects of ourselves to maximize the power within us. When this happens, we feel relaxed, yet more alert and receptive to positive energy. We become more efficient and don’t tire so easily. When we learn to live in harmony with ourselves, others, and the Universe, we are much more able and ready to connect with our life’s purpose.

Purpose (Dharma)

The discovery of our True Selves is probably the most important journey we could take. Because it helps us set meaningful goals which foster a sense of purpose (Dharma) over the span of our lives. Many people believe that Dharma arises from our special gifts—but that’s only partly true. It also grows from our connection to others, which is why a crisis of purpose is often a symptom of isolation. At Silent Savasana, you’ll find a community of people traveling along with you, hoping to reach the same destination—a life filled with love, purpose and true fulfillment.
